NI PCI-6052E register info

I have been trying to synchronize my app using polling of data from a
command (each scan of data = 1 timer count), but obviously this has a lot of
jitter.  Does anyone know where I can find register info to directly poll
the timer/counter & do related configuration?  I didn't see a separate
subdevice for this sort of timer/counter operation.
