timed-output with advantage pci_1710

Hi,

I have an advantage pci_1710 board.

I have earlier asked this forum about timed-output. I was suggested to use the ao_waveform demo as a starter.
I can read, measure, digital channel in and out with the board. 
But I cannot output timed sequencies.
The ao_waveform-program demo stops with:
comedi_command_test : Command not supported.
We have tried to test as in the ao_waveform-program, polled for subdevice, filled in the cmd. structure from the ao_waveform-program.
comedi_command_test and comedi_command all return -1.
Can anyone help?
