We've had Matlab R13, R14 and "R14 Service Pack 1" (7.0.1?) running successfully on the various 2.6 kernels that have come out on the FC2 updates. You probably need the latest version of comedi. If you have an Athlon 64-bit processor, then Matlab will not install by default (Mathworks in their wisdom released SP1 with a version for the A64, but only for 2.4 kernels). Apparently there's a workaround on the Mathworks website somewhere, that forces matlab to install the 32-bit version (but I haven't tried this). Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "the matlab compiler." If so then sorry for the useless info! I just use matlab with scripts (.m files) I don't compile anything... We've also had comedi running happily on Redhat 9 systems... however you have to hack at comedi a bit (because RedHat back-ported some changes in 2.5 kernels to the later 2.4 kernels), I think all the answers are in the mailing list archives. Anyway, hope that helps, Cheers, Steve. Dr Steve D.
