Yep, this is a known problem which I reported a long time ago (119
days to be specific...):

I made myself some updated comedi packages for debian while waiting
for this bug to be fixed, if anyone else would like to give them a try
they are available at http://oden.homeip.net/~daniel/comedi

No guarantees though, use the packages at your own risk...
