Where is the NI M-Series Linux driver/programming info?!?!?!?!

NI guys,

What's the deal? When are we going to get a driver or
the info needed to develop a driver for the M series
boards? You managed to get a Windows driver available
prior to the M-series release. Put a guy on developing
a basic linux driver!!!

DO NOT MENTION THE E-SERIES BOARDS AS A
SUBSTITUTION!!! I've heard that absurdity several
times ["Buy a less capable board at a higher price.
(Yeah, that's the ticket). We won't discontinue
support for the old board anytime soon"]

In contacting NI support several times since
September, I've received the answers: (paraphrasing)

  1) In September: "[RLP info will be available in a
month or so]"
  2) In December: "[linux support, if any, may be
available by the end of 3rd quarter '05
  3) Later in December: "[linux drivers and RLP info
should be available around the end of 2nd quarter 05'

Common!!!! Get 1 guy on it for a few days and get us a
driver or the basic info needed to develop our own!!!
We don't need a pretty programming manual, just get us
the ^_at_#^$ data!

I want the PCI NI-6259, but I'm not waiting another
"couple of months". Sounds like a Microsoft marketing
strategy to me.

Since NI isn't likely to come through, what are
other's using with capabilities similar to the NI-6259
(i.e., ~1 Ms throughput, 32+ analog input channels,
2-4 output channels, ...)???
