Dave,
I've been trying to create a new comedilib package for my knoppix CD.
The reason is that the debian package has the firmware files at the
wrong place. The "datadir" gets the prefix "doc" which also places the
firmware and other config files there. The doc dir gets all kinds of
config files, etc. Is that deliberately?
As a quick fix I would like to build from CVS a debian package. What do
I have to change that the library files are not .0.0.0? I can't find it.
Are there other things I have to uncomment to create a proper library
file? I'm using autoconf-1.8.
On the long run I would like to provide a fix the debian package but I
didn't get that to work. Can you give me some guidance. Or Frank?
Thanks!
/Bernd
