Analog Output Waveform Generation

Hi,

On the comedi website I see the that analog output waveform generation 
is under design.  Is that up to date info or do some drivers support this?

I want to generate a square wave of varying  amplitude and possibly also 
frequency (nominal freq is 2kHz).  Is there a way to do this through 
comedi interfaces?
