Was the dmesg output you posted after running comedi_config or before? Because it doesn't look like it got very far. If I were you, I'd start inserting some printk's into comedi_ioctl() and do_devconfig_ioctl() in comedi_fops.c, and comedi_device_attach() in drivers.c to trace where the COMEDI_DEVCONFIG ioctl is failing. -- Frank
