Hi I am very new to this. I am hoping to install Comedi-0.7.70 drivers on a Debian Woody system. I have gone through the INSTALL manual in the comedi-0.7.70 directory and followed all the steps. My linux source is installed in /usr/local/src/linux. I have edited the EXTRAVERSION variable to =-386. I have run 'make oldconfig'. NO PROBLEM. I have run 'make dep'. NO PROBLEM. I have done ./configure --with-linuxdir=/usr/local/src/linux . I have tried to compile it with 'make' but it comes up with a lot of complaints and errors about comedi_fops.c and comedi_fops.o . This is where it stops with 2 errors. I have done the same installation procedure with comedilib-0.7.22 with NO PROBLEMS whats so ever! What do I do??? Thanks for your time.
