pcl818-> pcm3718-> does demo/cmd work with that?

Hello,
everybody. This is my first post to this list. I was lurking for some time and 
I didn't found any information about my problem, so I'm writing now. I also 
had been googling without major success.

Problem:
I have Advantech PCM3718HG-B module, which is or could be supported with 
pcl818 driver. Everything is loaded correctly - insn works great, comedi_test 
and dmesg output looks nice. But "cmd" program from comedilib/demo stops 
after printfing "start time" - blocks on reading from /dev/comedi0 I suppose. 
Trigger is set for internal trigger (TRIG_TIMER), and pacer is set as written 
in 3718 manual.

I've even started my own driver for PCM3718, but get same trouble again. I 
need this driver badly but I started to faint... :(
Maybe someone had the same problem? Any hints? Thanks for any support.
