My current plan is to throw out all the old drivers, and start with a couple specific one's I'm writing for our Coldfire based systems. Support for new hardware will then come in on a case by case basis until I get a feel for it and can approach it more academically. I am currently looking for a thesis topic in embedded control systems, if embedded mmu-less DAQ and control is a relatively unexplored topic, then perhaps I can pursue this in research. NZG.
