Hi:
I think that the Comedi community should be aware of the recent "split" from
the RTAI project: Xenomai
https://gna.org/projects/xenomai/
The project is very promising: I'm doing some test alone and with USB-DUX
using x86 and PPC (Apple PowerBook).
The project use the latest kernel tree (2.6.13.4) with corresponding ADEOS
patch. Unfortunately:
- on x86 PC I need to disable pcmcia support to complete the build of
comedi. Is a problem for me, because I want to utilize PC CARD I/O
interface on my laptops :)
- on PPC (with --disable-pcmcia) the build complete but, if I try to insmod
comedi.ko I obtain:
" insmod: error inserting '/lib/modules/2.6.13.4-ipipe/comedi/comedi.ko': -1
Unknown symbol in module "
Where are the problems ?
Many thanks for your help
