Pin 1 is on the edge of the card nearest the bracket bolt.

If you stand behind your computer & face the back of the computer, & hold up 
the pinout diagram in the manual [Fig. 4.3 of AT-MIO/AI E-Series User Manual] 
in front of the card rear connector with the #1 pin toward the bracket bolt, 
then the pin numbers on the diagram will correspond correctly with the pins 
on the card.

Analog input is subdevice 0.

Yes, analog input channel 0 is pin 3 on the connector.  Of course you must 
decide whether you want a single-ended or double-ended connection to know 
where to connect the second lead. In the single-ended case, you must then 
decide whether you want the return connection to ground or to common 
(AISENSE).
