There is a generic issue with this machine where it makes pauses every once in a while and completely freezes. During these pauses nothing happens, not even the timer interrupt (looking at /proc/interrupts) is incrementing. So I suspect some hardware problem here, which is not unlikely since the machine is old... I made a small program that counts the ticks the number of timer interrupts per second, I normally get 285 ticks per second but sometimes I get 285 ticks in 7 seconds of wall time... I guess if the timer interrupt isn't occuring then everything else will also fail badly. Anway, my issue is most likely not Comedi related... Regards -- Daniel Nilsson
