Re: compiliation errors: include path troubles

Well actually I was *trying* to use the CVS version. Being to lazy to figure 
out how to generate the proper build files from the CVS snapshot, what I had 
done was to install the 0.7.70 source tree, and then replace the contents of 
the comedi directory with the files from the snapshot. Only trouble is it 
doesn't work. Even though I have copies  of autoconf.h scattered everywhere 
make fails the first time it hits a source file that includes autoconf.h.

My system is ubuntu Dapper btw. Recently upgraded from breezy.

Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to set up the configure/make files for 
this sort of thing?  Seems that my real problem is a lack of knowledge of how 
to use the build system.
