Hello, I have been using measurement computing cards (PCI-DAS640216 and PCI- DDA0816 ). Those cards offer high port density but are only available in 32bit/33Mhz 5volt PCI. Now most computers/servers do not even have a PCI port. Nowadays, it is more like PCI-X and PCI-Express. Unfortunately, the newer cards from Measurement Computing (some with even higher density) are not in the list of comedi supported cards. What should I do? Buy old legacy computers? or replace the cards? Now assuming that we decide to change the cards, how does the interface to the card change from the comedi point of vue? I assume it should not change except for the port density, am I correct? Thanks, -- Emmanuel Mayssat Cell: 650/793-0626 Lyncean Technologies, Inc. "See the invisible"
