I solved that over the week end, that was actually a mistake of mine: I was not using the correct version of automake. Sorry for the false alarm. I attach here the config log and make log obtained prior to correction. I am working under Ubuntu 6.06, with a 2.6.15 kernel patched with RTAI 3.3 Brice
