Info question

I've trying ./info (one of the demos) to get some information about my card
(das08) and got the following

overall info:
   version code: 0x00073c
   driver name: das08
   board name: das08
   number of subdevices: 5
subdevice 0:
   type: 1 (analog input)
   number of channels: 8
   max data value: 4095
   ranges:
      all chans: [-10,10]
   command:
comedi: subdevice does not support commands
 subdevice 1:
   type: 0 (unused)
 subdevice 2:
   type: 3 (digital input)
   number of channels: 3
   max data value: 1
   ranf¡ges:
      all chans: [0,5]
   command: comedi: subdevice does not support commands


and so on with subdevice 3 and 4. Nothing regarding counter, timer,
memory...
The problem is that it shows this message even when the DAS08 is not
connected.
Is it normal somewhat? or info is reading from a different source other than
the card?
