Compiling comedilib

Hi

I know this is going to be obvious. I have been looking at obvious
problems ever since upgrading to Fedora Core 6, I have gone back to
Fedora Core 5 and I have the same problems! I am currently attempting to
compile comedilib for use with my USB-DUX. The compile fails with the
following error:

> config.status: creating swig/Makefile
> config.status: creating swig/python/Makefile
> config.status: creating swig/ruby/Makefile
> config.status: creating testing/Makefile
> config.status: creating comedilib.spec
> config.status: creating comedilib.pc
> config.status: creating config.h
> config.status: config.h is unchanged
> config.status: executing depfiles commands
> make all-recursive
> make[1]: Entering directory `/home/paul/projects/comedi/source/comedilib'
> Making all in lib
> make[2]: Entering directory `/home/paul/projects/comedi/source/comedilib/lib'
> flex --header-file=./calib_lex.h -Pcalib_yy -o./calib_lex.c calib_lex.l
> flex: unknown flag '-'. For usage, try
> flex --help
> make[2]: *** [calib_lex.c] Error 1
> make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/paul/projects/comedi/source/comedilib/lib'
> make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/paul/projects/comedi/source/comedilib'
> make: *** [all] Error 2

It must have worked at some point else how can I run on my Fedora Core 5
systems. Can anybody help. It looks all too obvious.

Thanks in anticipation.
