Problem installing comedi on Ubuntu

Hi
I've been using Comedi for a couple of years now, and have _never_ had any
problems installing it. Now my computer has crashed so I took a chance and
upgraded to ubuntu 6.1.
I've downloaded comedi-0.7.73
First error when doing make:
/comedi-0.7.73/comedi/drivers/cb_das16_cs.c:79: error: expected
specifier-qualifier-list before 'dev_link_t'
uname -r gives:
2.6.17-10-generi
I get the same error with the cvs version
Any help is greatly appreciated.
