BUG in do_test_for_insn_bits()

Hello.
I've installed comedi and comedilib on FC6, using a vanilla 2.6.19.1 
kernel.
When I run the ./cmd and ./insn in demo, I get the following:

BUG in do_test_for_insn_bits()
: Connection timed out
/dev/comedi0: Connection timed out.

These are cvs versions from a week or so ago.
I'm running a USB-DUX.
Do I have an installation problem, or something else?
