Indeed, that's what I did last Friday (on a Slackware 11.0 machine) and
(after installing the Boost libraries, as John F.W. already said) it
compiled and worked. 

By the way, I still have a comedi_calibrate directory in my comedilib
CVS source dir. Shouldn't that be removed, or at least contain a mention
in the README that it is a separate module in CVS?
