People,
I have comedi installed on a Fedora 3 machine. I think I'm running
comedi 0.7.73 with RTAI installed. I have the National Instruments
hardware installed with ni_pcimio connected through /dev/comedi0. I
also have the National Instruments external hardware connected with
thermocouples attached to channels 0 and 1.
The main problem that I'm seeing is that I can access the thermocouples
on channel 0 and 1, and while the conversion algorithms are doubtful,
that doesn't bother me too much as long as the A/D output is reliable.
At this point I don't have any reason to doubt the A/D output. The main
problem arises when I attempt to reach the ice-point compensation
outputs on channels 8 and 9; at which point I seem to get back the
thermocouple readings again.
Can anyone give me some guidance here?
