The attached patch should help those trying to compile comedi-0.7.73 on recent kernels who don't want to use the CVS version for some reason. The patch includes kernel compatibility changes and some minor bug fixes from CVS. I haven't attempted major fixes for NI M-series because M-series support was very embryonic in 0.7.73. You still need to configure it with --disable-pcmcia for most kernels (apart from 2.6.17 I think). Apply the patch similarly to this: $ cd /path/to/comedi-0.7.73 $ patch -p1 < /path/to/comedi-0.7.73-patch-iasp1.patch Regards, Ian Abbott
