Re: comedi_config causes system to freeze with s626

Hi,

I tried using the cvs version for comedi & hacked
comedi_config in comedilib-0.8.0 & found out that the
problem was in "ioctl" call in line 344 of
comedi_config.c. Not sure why I would have a proble
with ioctl calls

for(i=0;i<COMEDI_NDEVCONFOPTS;i++)printf("%d,",it.options[i]);
			printf("\n");
		}
		fputs("comedi_config C4a: Openfile\n",stdout);
		(*)if(ioctl(fd,COMEDI_DEVCONFIG,remove?NULL:&it)<0){
			int err=errno;
			perror(_("Configure failed!"));
			fprintf(stderr,_("Check kernel log for more
information\n"));

thanx
Kris

Try applying this patch:

http://www.comedi.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/comedi/comedi/drivers.c?r1=3D1.10=
3&r2=3D1.104

or using comedi from cvs. Ian fixed a bug that might
help with the=20
crashing.
