Herman,
NI has been working on a 660x register level programming manual. It is now
on our website at:
http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/B255619CEA4E837286256B96006450CA?OpenDocument&node=132090_US
or search through the current product manuals for the 660x RLPM on
ni.com/support. Thanks for your patience.

I found these message myself too, but their negative result led me to
post a new message on the list...

I did this: I contacted the local (i.e., Belgian) responsible. I got
no answer until now...
If NI can't give me the required information, I will make an encoder
driver anyway, but then with an ADDI Data counter card, for which we
have already a drier, but not in comedi format.
Another little project we have in mind is making a CORBA component
around comedi.
Thanks for the reponse anyway.
Herman
