I'm planning to use the PCI 6602 card from National Instruments <http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/DD0DBB6404BC139886256721007CF16D?OpenDocument&node=1123_US> for encoder interfacing. I don't see anything of this kind yet in the comedi source. Is somebody working on this? If not, I guess I will give it a try in the next months. Maybe as the first application of the counter infrastructure that is already in comedi for some time, but that has not been used until now? Does somebody have suggestions about how to implement/update/change the counter infrastructure of comedi, or is the current framework okay? The 6602 manual on the web site above doesn't give me register information... Where would I find that information?
