Well I was hoping that moving to a new board would be just a matter of getting the new driver and loading it. Almost but..... I'm moving from a CB PC104-DAS16jr/16 to a PCI-DAS1602/16. The PC104 runs happily at 4KHz*16 channels. The DAS1602 runs good at 1KHz*16 channels but I get buffer overruns at 4KHz*16 channels. This is the hardware FIFO that is over running. I've compiled the current CVS (as of noon) and I'm using it with a 2.4.17 rtai kernel. The board is not sharing interrupts with any other board. The collection program runs for 5 minutes to an hour before the overflow. There is little other load on the system. The same collection code runs with the das16 driver for days. Any ideas as to where to look next? John Conner Empire Digital Instruments conner_at_EmpireDI.com
