Hi, We currently have an application that is using a DAS-08/Jr-AO board, which mostly works fine, but I want to upgrade it. This is for a test stand that has to be built in the next year or so and run for 5 or more years, so an ISA bus makes me nervous. The other thing that is not so great is that I am digitizing a sine wave (up to a kHz). With the Jr, I can do this by taking samples at the maximum rate (~20 kHz) and getting good timestamps, but I'd like an on-board solution to the DAQ if I could get it. We also want to expand the application a little. So, what I would like is a board with: PCI 8 bits Digital output 3 analog outs 4 analog ins reasonable cost Does such a board exist? All the multi-function boards I've seen have only 2 analog outs. Even if we need to go with two boards in the test stand, I'd still like recommendations on a board to replace the Jr. Obviously good support from comedi is a driving factor. Thanks for any advice, Eric PS: I should point out that at the moment I'm using a standalone driver for the Jr, since when I looked some time ago, I think comedi didn't support it all that well. -- Eric Vaandering Phone: 615-343-6599 FAX: 615-343-7217 Vanderbilt University Email: ewv_at_fnal.gov Department of Physics http://www.hep.vanderbilt.edu/~vondo ______________________________________________________________________________
