The warning you are getting about "tainting the kernel" is only in regards
to the legal software lisence associated with the driver. The kernel is
complaining that the code you are loading isn't specificly part of the Gnu
Public License. If you ever use any of the X11 drivers from Nvidia they
cause the same warning.
This warning shouldn't have _any_ impact at all on the functionality of
the driver, it's just leagal jargon.
