Dylan,
The 670x does not have separate CalDACs, instead it uses two of the output
channels as feedback to adjust the output voltage/current.
The document on the 6703/6704 also describes which channel #s match the
Offset and Gain calibration channels, and the procedure to manually
calibrate it.
http://www.ni.com/support/calibrat/mancal.htm
The CalDAC information isn't stored on the EEPROM, it is stored in
nonvolatile RAM which is loaded at power on. So an RLP, or Comedi user
won't need to calibrate the board since it boots up calibrated. If he
wants a new calibration, he should follow the procedure in the manual
calibration document.

Hi all,
I have been using comedi with four or five cards for a few months now.
I would like to say that is an
excellent project.
I have a couple of questions
: When is dma likely to be finished for the NI E series cards? Not
hugely important, but it would be useful for a few projects.
: I am using NI's 6703 analog out card. It has 16 outs at 16 bit
resolution, but there is no way in comedi to calibrate it ( correct me if
I'm wrong). can anyone recommend an analog out card with about 16 analog
outs at 12 or 16 bit resolutions. It doesn't have to be a a fancy card
with streaming out.
Thanks
