Hallo all,
I've got a National Instruments PXI-6534 card which seems to be the
CompactPCI version of the PCI-6534 card. There are no reported differences
in the 653x User Manual.
So I tried to get the card working with the ni_pcidio.c driver version 1p60.
There I added a new entry in the nidio_boards structure :
{
dev_id: 0x1490,
name: "pxi-6534",
n_8255: 0,
is_diodaq: 1,
},
I configure the card with comedi_config /dev/comedi0 ni_pcidio.
The driver finds the card and it seems to be initialized. The demo "dio"
works. But if I try to use the demo "cmd", the driver seems to hang.
It doesn't raise any interrupts or collect data in DMA mode.
I did some research in the mailing list and found reported problems on
the same issue and the PCI-6534 card :

Was this issue solved ?
Is somebody else working with the PXI-6534 and comedi ?
Is there some knowledge about differences in the register level
programming between this two cards ?
Are there other documentations then the "653x User Manual" which gives
more detailed information about these cards ?
Thanks for any help.
Andreas
