Amy, your answer was why I mentioned the oops. I have not gone back to see if it might be a soluting. Dave assuming that I can reproduce the oops, a bug report will be filed. I'm not sure at the moment the problem is real. Given the other problems my guess is that they are not really bugs but a configuration problem on my system. To get the job in Maimi going, I located and restored a disk with 2.4.17-rtihl and comedi-0.7.63-cvs (about May 30, 2002). With this version, the PC104-DAS16jr/16 runs fine in timed mode but just sets there in interrupt mode. I should know tomorrow if it works in the real world (that is setting on a toilet in a truckers lounge in a rail yard - I kid you not :-) and that is better that a lot of locations.) Now that the old stuff is working again I'll try to figure what is broken in the newer setup..
