I have tried that. dump_cis yields:
Socket 0:
  no CIS present

Socket 1:
  no CIS present
when I put dump_cis -f
dev_info
    NULL 0ns, 512b
    NULL 0ns, 512b
    NULL 0ns, 512

Of course that is after restarting the pcmcia device. Also, the comedi
modules never load automatically. I always have to insmod them manually.
Does this give any hint of the where the problem might be? Naturally, I
have tried to reboot etc.
In /var/log/messages I have the error:
comedi: version 1.0.0 - David Schleef <ds_at_schleef.org>
Oct 24 16:20:53 amouse kernel: mio_cs: Card Services release does not match!

What does this mean? what can I do about it? Please, any help!! I am so
at loss and don't know what to try next!
Thanks
miriam
