I am so > at loss and don't know what to try next! > Thanks > miriam It means a version number in the pcmcia headers you compiled against don't match the ones in your kernel, which may or may not be a problem (some distros have this problem in their kernel sources). It seems to me your problems have nothing to do with comedi though, as you never get that far. My guess would be your pcmcia configuration is wrong (or possibly your pcmcia hardware is broken/unsupported), have you ever used any other pcmcia cards with this computer?
