Hi All, I want to use Sensoray 626, a multifunction analog and digital IO card from Sensory.com. It has AD, DA, quadrature encoders, watch dog timer and digital IOs. Their web site has provided a linux driver for it: http://www.sensoray.com/html/626data.htm Can I use their linux driver with RTAI or RTLinux? I talked with an engineer from the company he suggested 526 since I want pc104 if possible: http://www.sensoray.com/html/526data.htm That has most of the function of 626: AD, DA, quadrature encoders. But it doesn't have Linux driver. He said they released all register information on their web page and so it is possible to write a comedi driver for it. I don't mind to do it myself even though I am not familar with comedi driver. If I can get some help from your guys, I can buy that card and write driver by myself and share it with you guys if it works. But I really don't know what I am getting into. My background: Ph.D. in EE from a US university, have been coding C, C++, fortran over 10 years for numerical analysis, physical device simulations. Do you think it is doable? How long will take assuming two to three hours per day? Thanks. Everett Thanks
