I've compiled the comedi version from CVS without any problems. Try the CVS.

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous_at_cvs.comedi.org:/var/cvs login
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous_at_cvs.comedi.org:/var/cvs co comedi
