Hi again, looks also so that the kernel and comedi are not really in sync with their configs. It also helps if you do a "make distclean" in the kernel. Remember to rescue your ".config" before you do so. Then go back to comedi and do a ./configure again. /Bernd Johan De Clercq wrote: > Hey, > > In an attempt to solve the unresolved symbols problem I installed a new > kernel 2.4.24 downloaded from the kernel.org. > > After installing comedi-0.7.66 again I got less unresolved symbols but > still not possible to load comedi with modprobe. > > I know it must be possible, before I got the card running with SuSE 8.1 > Do somebody has an idea where I have to look for when i get his output > for " modprobe comedi -d " > > /lib/modules/2.4.24/comedi/comedi/comedi.o: unresolved symbol > __generic_copy_to_user_Rd523fdd3 > /lib/modules/2.4.24/comedi/comedi/comedi.o: unresolved symbol > printk_R1b7d4074 > /lib/modules/2.4.24/comedi/comedi/comedi.o: > insmod/lib/modules/2.4.24/comedi/comedi/comedi.o failed > /lib/modules/2.4.24/comedi/comedi/comedi.o: insmod comedi failed > > Johan > > > > > _______________________________________________ > comedi mailing list > comedi_at_comedi.org > https://cvs.comedi.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/comedi
