comedi_configure Problem!!

hi,
i m using Redhat 9.0 linux-2.4.22, comedi-0.7.60,comedilib-0.7.20,everything works fine except in INSTALLATION steps libraries must be copied to /usr/lib and header files to /usr/include,but in my case these are copied to /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/include, also after following all the installation procedures, when i run the command
          modprobe ni_pcidio
comedi.o and ni_pcidio.o and 8255 are loaded but with warning showing that these are tainted modules, 
after that when i run 
          /usr/local/sbin/comed_configure /dev/comedi0 ni_pcidio
then it gives me error
 
comedi0 : nidio device does not exist
 
dump some memory and at the end gives
 
Segmentation Fault
 
plzz help me!!!
