There's a patch available for SCXI support for older versions of comedi The latest version of comedi now includes support for a serial subdevice under an NI card, which is used to access SCXI devices. I am working on adding support under comedilib for convenience functions for the devices. You It really boils down to a matter of knowning the register level programming for whichever SCXI device you have. My experience is with the 1100 and 1102, and the code that Brad Keryan (of NI) submitted some time ago was for a bunch of the digital out devices. But, the infrastructure should be there to support any SCXI device. See https://cvs.comedi.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=75 and https://cvs.comedi.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=69 for some more information. Feel free to mail me off-list if you have some specific questions, too.
