Using SCXI filters

I've been using a custom application with Comedi for acquisition of data 
from an NI 6071E.  A while back a new SCXI box for signal filtering got 
put on the "make this work" list.

For our application, they will be set up just once with a set of default 
filters, and we'll use these all the time.  Is there a way to set them 
up via Linux applications, or would we need to temporarily plug them 
into a Windows box & use NI's tools?

Has anyone got any experience setting up a Comedi based application that 
can configure the filters?  I've been wondering if NIs linux labview 
would have anything capable of letting me set them up.
