Re: Problems configuring Comedi for SuSE 9.0

Hello,

Thanks for the link to the kernel tar ball. I will keep it as a fallback
option in case I run against a wall with my 2.4.21-215, comedi 0.7.60 and
comedilib 0.7.20.
I am not entirely sure what problems I'll run into when fetching a
standard kernel and compiling it on a SuSE 9.0 system or using a kernel
from SuSE 9.0 Personal on 9.0 Professional.

Anyway, do you think I'll gain anything by upgrading from comedi 0.7.60
and comedilib 0.7.20, when all I need is I/O on a PCL725?

I also have SuSE 9.1 available, does comedi work with kernels 2.6.x?
(Didn't find anything mentioned in the comedi docs). If yes, I'd gladly
switch to 9.1, since 9.0 contains DirectFB 0.9.16 and I can't convince
0.9.20 to compile for it :>(
SuSE 9.1 comes with DirectFB 0.9.20, I think ..

Beste Grüße / Kind regards / Meilleures Salutations
