What cards (if any) actually are supposed to work in real time, with kcomedilib and are there any special procedures for building/installing comedi with real time support? I have been trying for about a week, but to no avail. However, the one comedi device that does work for me in real time is comedi_parport. This works fine under both RTlinux and RTAI. But I have tried a daqboard2000 and a national instruments (using the ni_pcimio driver), and they both give the same results: Under RTLinux, the kernel crashes when you try to configure them with comedi_config; Under RTAI there's no crash, but the cards simply do nothing. I've successfully written non-realtime programs using these cards so I'm confident the hardware is ok. What special steps do I have to take to get them to work in real time under RTAI or RTLinux ??
