prospective newbie NI DAQ 6024E

I'm looking into running linux on a Toshiba laptop with 2 NI DAQCard-6024E pcmcia cards and I'm trying to find out if there are going to be any show stoppers. From what I see on the web, it looks like Labview runs on linux, but with not as much functionality as on Win/Mac.
 
My main concern is in regards to the driver support in linux for the pcmcia cards. I know the comedi website does list the 6024E on the supported hardware page, but does anyone have any actual experience with this or know if/what functionality will be problematic or missing?
