well, I run a 6024E pcmcia on my Acer Travelmate 220 laptop with Debian Sarge on it and no RT architecture. I had some difficulties in installing comedi but after some tricking I've been able to communicate to the card with comedi lib. The only problem I reported is that I'm not able to issue a TRIG_NONE command for stop scanning: that means that I'm not able to perform and infinite acquisition and I must do it with a while loop: I saw that after 2k in the buffer the card refused to go on, although the buffer size is something like 64k. This problem isn't reported with the same card, but pci model on a desktop PC. Otherwise it seems to works fine (it's just a month that I use it). let me know if you have the same experience and if you're able to solve this problem. regards, raphael bartalesi On Wed, 8 Sep 2004 18:23:42 -0700 (PDT) T K <teka9278_at_yahoo.com> wrote: > I'm looking into running linux on a Toshiba laptop with 2 NI DAQCard-6024E pcmcia cards and I'm trying to find out if there are going to be any show stoppers. I know the comedi website does list the 6024E on the supported hardware page, but does anyone have any actual experience with this or know if/what functionality will be problematic or missing? > > Thanks, > T > > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
