Superlogics PCM308 from Claus Fuetterer on 2004-09-12 (gmane.linux.comedi)

Hello,

I am trying to get a Superlogics (formerly Quatech) PCM308 working
but comedi_config complains:

# comedi_config /dev/comedi0 quatech_daqp_cs 7,0xdff0
Configure failed!: Input/output error
Check kernel log for more information
Possible reasons for failure:
Driver not found


However, the driver (quatech_daqp_cs.o) is in the
/lib/modules/2.4.19-4GB/comedi/ and in 
/lib/modules/2.4.19-4GB/misc/
and should be found!!

The corresponding kernel log is:

modprobe: can't locate module char-major-98-0
kernel: comedi0: No such daqp device 7
kernel: comedi0: detaching daqp


What did I wrong?
