We typically use National Instruments' cards because they are well supported by Comedi and we've never had a problem with them. They typically run a little more expensive than equal cards of other brand, however. Measurement Computing, another company we use, sells almost identical cards as NI but at a lower price - many are supported by Comedi, others may need driver modifications. The most basic NI card is the PCI-6023 and it runs for $395; it will do everything you want except for the AO. The PCI-6024 adds in two channels of AO for an additional $200. Prices go up from there based on higher sampling frequencies and jumping to 16 bit AI. Caleb
