Hi, I use the APCI-3120 on a SuSE linux PC. I did not use the comedi driver so far but the RTAI driver by ADDI -Data for the APCI3120 works fine. At least with a 2.4 RTAI patched kernel. what do you mean by " autonomous" - are you talking of a stand-alone measuring box? maybe you want to use/have a look at the features of the MSX-box by ADDI Data. I have good experience with the support of the company. One can actually talk or email with the persons writing the software. So maybe you just get in contact for you questions ... enough advertisement ;) !
