I would like to help to discover the license status of the ADDI-DATA
drivers.

I'm using a ADDI-DATA ADC-board (APCI-3001) with Comedi. In autumn last
year I asked the poeple at ADDI-DATA for an updated driver for the current
Comedi version because I thought I can use an G3PowerMac with the
ADC-board for my data logging application. The old version didn't work but
the new one doesn't either. That's another story.

I got a tarball from ADDI-DATA with Comedi 0.7.68 and the ADDI-DATA
specific drivers which are slightly different to old ones.

They still suffer any clear license statement. The new drivers include
the file "comedi_fc.h" and the following commented lines are in the
source file "addi_common.c":

//Update-0.7.57->0.7.68MODULE_AUTHOR("ADDI-DATA GmbH \
<info_at_addi-data.com>");
//Update-0.7.57->0.7.68MODULE_DESCRIPTION("Comedi ADDI-DATA module");
//Update-0.7.57->0.7.68MODULE_LICENSE("GPL");

Perhaps this may help to clarify the license status. Perhaps the Comedi
fork produced by ADDI-DATA must be released under GPL?

Like Sven do, I will try to contact ADDI-DATA about the license.
