as the log suggests: it seems to be an interrupt problem:

I've solved this on my Laptop by adding to the kernel:
pci=noacpi
acpi=noirq
noapic
I recall that I've got a similar problem with a Dell.
The other option is that the USB power is faulty. I've spent a day
debugging a prototype and then finally realising that the USB cable was
faulty. It worked with a mouse but not with the DUX-board.
To find that out the best bet is a USB-HUB with external power. Or just
open the USB-DUX and measure the +5V.
